Super Special Sprouts

Brussel Sprouts /1/2 Red Onion / Streaky Bacon / Butter / Salt / Pepper / Oil

REMOVE outer layers of sprouts and trim bottoms

CHOP streaky bacon into lardons

HEAT oil in small pan, add bacon

SIZZLE until crispy, put to one side

SLICE red onion into strips

HEAT more oil in larger pan

THROW onions in and gently soften

HACK sprouts into slices

TOSS sprouts into softened red onions

WHACK a large knob of butter in and stir over heat for thirty seconds

TURN heat off and place lid on pan

LEAVE for two minutes

STIR through bacon and serve
