How To Make Bitchin Shortcrust Pastry
250g Plain Flour / 125g Unsalted Butter / Salt / 1 Egg Yolk / 30-40ml Milk
CUT softened butter into chunks
SIEVE flour into large bowl
THROW in butter and pinch of salt
RUB together using fingertips until you have a breadcrumb mixture
ADD egg yolk to breadcrumb mix
POUR milk slowly into bowl, stirring until it starts to come together
TURN out onto floured surface and knead for a few minutes
WRAP in cling film and place in fridge
LEAVE for 30 mins until ready to roll out and use
