Peyton Manning’s One Ring
In honor of Super Bowl Weekend, Yahoo Sports asked us for some Big Game-themed recipes. We’ll be supplying Tailgating Treats all weekend.
[[MORE]]Large Onion/ Thin Sliced Bacon/ Dark Beer or Ale/ Flour/ Baking Soda
CHOP onion in half
REMOVE skin
SEPARATE rings carefully and set aside
TIP 100g of flour into a bowl
ADD teaspoon of baking soda
POUR in half bottle of beer and whisk (3)
DROP more beer/flour in mix if too runny/thick
HEAT oil in fryer to highest setting
WRAP thin bacon round the onion rings (4)
DIP in batter and carefully drop into hot oil
FRY for 4-5 minutes until batter is crisp
THROW a tight spiral into your face
STOP at one like Peyton, because one ring is all you need
